Meet the Innovation Team

The Pilot Innovation Center opened in July, 2018 and since then the Emulsion Polymerization team has been working hard to meet the needs of the everchanging marketplace. Their cutting edge credentials include 15 patents, 29 pending patents and the status as the world's leading producer Diphenyl Oxide Disulfonates (DPOS).

Pilot Chemical’s Calfax® Products

Pilot Chemical’s Calfax® products are diphenyl oxide disulfonates anionic surfactants with a high charge density and superior stability. Manufactured by Pilot’s proprietary ice-cold sulfonation process. Calfax® products are dependable, uniform, high in purity, and low in color assuring customer quality and performance every time.
